Decor Highlight: Vintage Chic Table Setting

Vintage chic is currently a very popular theme for weddings, but the great thing is that even though it’s a very popular theme….each bride can make it their own, and have it be unique. The reason for this is because it is so versatile in colors. A wide range of colors, gives brides the opportunity to play with a LOT of flower types. Also vintage chic prides itself in elegance and simplicity, so it is a theme that won’t break your bank. In fact, you can find many of your decor accessories at thrift shops, or the very inexpensive section of craft stores. Here are some samples of vintage chic table settings. As you can see they are each very different, and unique in their own way.

Daily Inspiration: Nautical Chic Extradionnaire

Last week we mentioned that if you want to make your event decor pop and standout in the most amazing way, pairing opposite colors as your color scheme is best. Last week we paired white and green for you. Now we pair up navy and yellow for a perfect combination of elegance, sophistication, and chic-ness. In this particular example, we have utilized these two great colors to set the stage for a Chic Nautical theme which is perfect for July/August Weddings! A great perk about working with yellow, especially during the summer time, is that there are an abundant number of flowers that are yellow. This way, you have a lot to work with. This theme and these colors are the best of both worlds because it prides itself in simplicity, and sophistication. So, you don’t really have to go out of your way to make your decor look outstanding. The chemistry this theme and colors have basically do all the work for you.

Daily Inspiration: Crisp and Clean, White and Green

Less is more….we have all heard this saying before. When applying this motto to wedding decor we automatically gear towards a white and green color scheme. No other color combination can embody class, crisp elegance, and sophisticated simplicity like these colors can. Also, many studies have showed that green is a color that relaxes the human eye immediately. So, having these colors won’t only make your event look stunning, but will also serve as therapeutic for any stress you or your guests may have.

Decor Highlight: Unique Alters, a true representation of the couple

These days, there are absolutely no rules in how you should get married. Back in the old days, the wedding festivity world was very cliche. But today, it is more than okay to step 100% out of the box. In fact, in today’s wedding world stepping way out of the box is what makes your event all the more fabulous and tasteful. One element of weddings that is usually kept traditional still are alters. Some brides do step it up and truly make their alters a sincere representation of the groom and bride though. Here are some of our favorite unique alters!

Daily Inspiration: Orange Creamsicle and Turquoise Dream

Bold colors are thought to be too risky for brides. But, the truth is that if paired correctly…two bold colors can make a huge RIGHT as long as they have chemistry together. Interestingly enough, usually when pairing bold colors together, the best combinations are of totally opposing colors. Here is one of our favorite examples…turquoise and orange. They couldn’t be more opposite from one another, yet they look absolutely amazing together. So, go on and take a chance with your event’s colors. It could very well be the best risk you have ever taken in your life :)

Daily Inspiration: Girly Rockstar Wedding

Are you a girly girl, but with an edge? Pink and black are probably the perfect blend of colors for your event’s color scheme! If you want more of edge you can blend a fuchsia pink with black, or if you want to bring out more of the classy appeal, do light pink with black. Of course, your accent color would be white to neutralize it all. These two colors are the best mixture of chic, classiness, sexiness, and girlyness.

Daily Inspiration: Marie Antoinette Bash

Let them eat cake! Have a wedding inspired by the original Diva, Marie Antoinette! This theme is perfect for the girly girl, who wants to do something out of a fairytale. The great thing is that Marie Antoinette isn’t just out of any fairytale. This theme is one to impress through its luxurious details, and lavish shades of pastels. Pinks, light blues, and soft greens accented with hints of golds will make your day look like your guests have traveled in time to the days of the French Diva herself. This theme is not commonly used either, which is another reason to go for it! You will for sure stand out in the best way possible!
